The home is situated in a metropolitan residential area with hill view and is co-located with a Transitional Care Unit and a teaching Medical and Health centre. Shops are located within five kilometres of the home whilst health and community services are co-located. ViTA is a brand new facility commissioned in 2014 and is a high quality purpose-built multi-level residential aged care facility offering a home-like atmosphere in open plan accommodation for 60 residents in low - high and respite care settings. The ViTA community aims to improve health and well-being through strong personal relationships - open learning and positive connections. The accommodation consists of 60 high and low care places of which 30 places are offered as extra service. The home is designed as two separate levels with two wings on each level and fifteen bedrooms in each wing.
