Banksia Lodge has a spacious well lit dining room (208m2) with tables and comfortable chairs with arms for ease of use. There are two main lounges in the facility.(99m2 and 81m2) There also four smaller lounges (38.5m2 - 49m2 - 38.5m2 and 40m2) All lounges have a TV - ample lighting - comfortable chairs . Multidenominational church services are conducted in one of the lounges. The Activity room(112m2) is well equipped to provide space for activities such as bingo - games - excercise - book groups and cooking. There are four secure outdoor coutryards (160m2 - 200m2 - 240m2 and 300m2) - one with shade - one has a small bowling green as well. The outdoor garden area (53m2) has raised and standard garden beds.

Podiatry - physiotherapy - dietician are provided Optical and dental examinations can be arranged; residents with no health care card may pay for these services. A bus fitted with lifting hoist and wheel chair access is provided for residents social outings. A Mens Shed programme is available to all male residents. There are two internet connected computers for residents use - communications and enjoyment.
