Room Description:
All rooms have large windows with garden views and good quality furnishings. Twelve of our rooms have external doors leading out to well maintained outdoor garden areas. Thirteen of our hostel rooms are fully carpeted with the remaining 2 rooms having vinyl. All rooms include adjustable electronic beds and bed side table. There is ample wardrobe space. The ensuites are well sized and fitted out with handrails for showering and around the toilet. Additional furniture is available - please contact us for more information.

Common Area Details:
There are a number of common areas available for use. All these rooms are maintained in good condition. These include: - Dining room - this is well lit with lots of large windows allowing natural lighting and looking out on a garden setting. It has ample room to seat 15 residents. - Outdoor areas - there are several garden areas that residents can use - with outdoor table settings and barbeque facilities available on request. - Lounge room - this has a large screen television for residents to watch - with WII games and a stereo system available. There are lounge chairs and couches for residents to enjoy their time in this room. - Library - quiet room - this is a smaller area that is available for anyone wanting to read in peace or have a private area to chat with their family or visitors. There is a comfortable couch for relaxing on. - Activities room - this larger area that is used for group acitivities run by our Activities Co-ordinator. It also opens up onto our outdoor garden area.

Specific Features:
There is lifting equipment tracking mounted in the ceiling of each bedroom to aid residents who are no longer able to walk.

Additional Care Info:
There is a registered nurse available for any specialised nursing care 24 hours a day. An Activities program is overseen by the Activities Co-ordinator who is assisted by an allied health assistant and group of volunteers. There is a hospital co located on the same site - and doctors are able to visit residents regularly as the Yea Medical Centre is also located next door. We offer a physiotherapy and speech therapy review annually at no cost to ensure all needs are fully catered for. Our menu is developed and reviewed by a dietician.
