"Mountain View Lodge Hostel is a low care facility of 45 beds. This means that people who have received an ACAT low care assessment are eligible for placement. However - our facility also allows for aging in place which means that a majority of residents are able to remain with us as their needs increase (become high care) rather than having to transfer elsewhere. All single rooms with private ensuite and are in excellent condition. All rooms are provided with air-conditioning and heating with individual room controls. Access to a landline connection for a private telephone is also available. There is adequate space with plenty of room for a television. A well maintained room - spacious with plenty of storage space and a range of views available throughout the room from gardens or a courtyard through to a dividing fence or the street. A bed - chair - built-in wardrobe - security draw and bedside table is also provided - which matches in with the decor and style of the room. An abundance of natural light filters through the room from a large window - however there are block out curtains - sheers as well. Each room has access to an outdoor individual seating area. A nurse call system is installed in each room and ensuite that allows the resident to call on staff quickly when required. A nurse call portable pendant is also available if the residents requires this to be carried on them. Three rooms have wheelchair access. Two rooms have interconnecting access to another room i.e. two rooms can be utilised for companions.

A nurse call system is installed in each room and 2 in the ensuite that allows the resident to call on staff quickly when required. A nurse call portable pendant is also available if the resident requires this to be carried on them. All rooms are setup with technology to assist in ensuring meeting the resident with the best care outcomes - equipment includes out of bed sensors - rooms sensors and ensuite sensors.
