This room is well appointed and in good condition. It has recently been re-carpeted and re-painted. It has a large window which allows a view of our attractive gardens with plenty of natural light. It has a built-in wardrobe and dressing table. It includes a bed - bedside chest of drawers and arm chair although residents are welcome to bring their own if they wish.

Common Area Details:
Residents living in our facility have access to a range of different communal areas - totalling 209 square metres (excluding grounds). Communal spaces include a large shared area where residents can enjoy a variety of activities - and where we hold many social events. There are also two small lounge rooms - beautifully appointed - where residents have access to tea making and snack facilities. Our large dining room has a small private dining room attached which enables residents to invite family and friends to share a meal. Barwo Homestead has immaculate gardens and surrounds. A gazebo and many outside benches and chairs allow residents to sit outside and enjoy fresh air and sun. Walkways have been established around the facility and to the nearby creek to allow for regular exercise - or to just enjoy our beautiful surrounds and outdoors.

Our unique facility - having only 20 residents creates a homelike environment which allows our experienced staff to offer very personalised care to each resident. We offer the following at no extra cost: Secure - designated - powered parking for electric scooters. Transport between Barwo Homestead and the town centre. Assistance to shop. Weekly exercise walk with Physiotherapist. Access to District Nurse 7 days. Massage (limited to Dr referral) Tea - Coffee for family and friends. A glass of Sherry - Beer - Wine served with night meal.
