The room has an Aged Care appropriate bed - three drawer bedside table and built in cupboards that have adequate hanging space shelving - and a work space that has room for a computer or to utilise as a writing desk. The shared ensuite is large to allow space for a mobile bath and wheelchair access. There is a toilet that has handrails each side. The room is equipped with a hand-held shower hose - hand basin and vanity unit.

From the common areas you can walk out into the internal courtyard which has gardens - paths and pergola seating.

There is a large area for resident activities - large TV lounge and TV. There are areas for family and friends to celebrate special occasions in private. The facility has a registered nurse onsite 7 day a week 24 hours a day 365 days a year. All residents have access to the own general practitioner of choice. The facility can maintain palliative residents within the facility in their own room. There is a recreation officer that offers one on one and group activities. A Physiotherapist - Occupational Therapist - Speech pathologist and Dietic visit The Oaks on a regular basis. An Oral Health Hygienist visits The Oaks on a regular basis offering general check up and follow up through telehealth.
