All rooms have superior quality floor and window coverings and furnishings. Each room is equipped with an electric adjustable bed with a call bell - a large comfortable chair - an inbuilt wardrobe - a flat screen TV and a bedside table and lamp. Each room has its own reverse cycle heating - cooling unit which is individually controlled by the resident or staff. All residents rooms have windows to the outside area which provide natural light and vistas.Each room has its own large en-suite which has been especially designed for people with frailty and disabilities.

Sumner House is a multi storied facility with two lifts and a dining area and fully furnished recreational areas on each floor. There is a large dining room on the ground floor and kitchenettes on the other floors. All furnishings and fittings are in excellent condition with high quality carpeting and window coverings in all the common areas. Family meeting rooms are available and a hairdressing salon. There is a large activity room for all residents which has a library - gym equipment and computer access. The use of iPads and Wi Fi is also available for all residents. Cable TV is available upon request. All residents have access to inner covered balconies which overlook the courtyard and its gardens.
