It is in a quiet location with a rural outlook - with views of the Snowy River flats. It is attached to the hospital (acute wing) of the Orbost Regional Health building and residents have 24 hour access to the available medical staff on-site. Residents are visited each week by their regular GP. Staff are employed on a permanent basis - so residents get to know their carers. There is no agency staffing.
