Residents have access to a formal dining room and lounge area (92m2) There is an activity space and an access to. two out door entertaining areas and tranquil gardens that residents can enjoy. Specific Features:
The facility is set amongst a retirement village which encourages community involvement. The retirement village has a community hub room which contains their own personal library - two computer with internet access - Large TV - Eight ball table and a full size kitchen. This room can be used for residents to have private functions or participate in the activities that the village offers each week such as craft group - card and board games - and happy hour.

Activities offered on a daily basis - this program is set monthly by qualified staff to ensure that there are activities for all levels of residents skills and requirements. Pet therapy - management encourage the use of pets to offer therapy to the residents of Karingal Hostel. Daily paper is available to the residents. Physiotherapy services - massage is provided to the residents on a weekly basis. Library service- the local public library visits the facility on a monthly basis. Church services (from most do-nominations) visit the facility on a weekly basis. The facility has a supporting community with many volunteers whom come to facility to provide one on one time with residents - assist in outings. Happy hour is offered on a weekly basis - some form of entertainment (either live music or a guest presenter) is provided for the residents to enjoy.
